Was just gonna say this. I’m currently using GrapheneOS and am concerned about how long my pixel 8a will last with Google being such assholes. But if this app can solve the issue of not having android, then I’d definitely switch to a Linux phone (with further research of course).

Fuck in my mind I was like “hope this just wasn’t chatGPT” because I know that’s the one useful thing they can do. A girl in my networking class used chatGPT to explain asymmetric cryptography with drag queen terms and it was actually good. Ah well, at least I got a chuckle, but no award for a bot doing it.

I don’t know what it was like when my sister was young, but I also got occular migraines as a kid, and it’d be like a static spot in my vision where things just disappear behind it. Once that static appeared, I only had 10-20 mins or so before an awful headache would set off, and I ended up needing meds for it. They went away after 13 though.

He never said paying for open source projects is impossible, obviously we have the ability pay. It’s the expecting EVERYONE to drop money on every FOSS project that’s infeasible. That shit ads up.
It’s the same issue that PeerTube has, people making free content with no ads, but they aren’t guaranteed payment. I’m not about to pay $5 per month on Patreon for every creator that I like, cause that’s just not sustainable.
I don’t use official streaming apps, I basically pirate everything on a Fire stick TV. Idk if anyone has reported issues with them on GOS. Some of my banking apps work, others don’t. I just do the ones that don’t work online in browser instead, I feel like it shouldn’t be a problem tbh.
If you need tap to pay/Google wallet then you unfortunately can’t use GOS due to not being approved by Google or smth. Like SafetyNet issues or smth.
