Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•WhatsApp's new AI feature lets you rephrase and adjust the tone of your messages | TechCrunchEnglish12·3 days agoAs if I’d care or check what apps people use when I travel. I travel for places not humans. Also I still wouldn’t care if everyone would use it. Then everyone couldn’t contact me. Unless they manage to install another app.
So yes, I’m ignorant to bullshit. If you do it because “everyone does it”, that is your problem. So how dare one uses a phone that isn’t android or crapple or even not smart 😊
Also, even if you’re “forced” to use it, my point is still valid. You don’t care for privacy. You choose to omit it or just don’t care. Unless someone forces you at gunpoint and it’s either you or WA. Which probably happens nowhere.
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•WhatsApp's new AI feature lets you rephrase and adjust the tone of your messages | TechCrunchEnglish2·3 days agoCrap that surely sucks ass. Luckily i avoided having kids, so that’ll never be a problem. But that’s the problem with that crap, so many just using it because others do. And hence help keeping crap afloat 😒
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•WhatsApp's new AI feature lets you rephrase and adjust the tone of your messages | TechCrunchEnglish1·3 days agoI traveled to nearly every place on this planet. What does that have to do with WA and me being forced to use it?
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•WhatsApp's new AI feature lets you rephrase and adjust the tone of your messages | TechCrunchEnglish22·4 days agoBecause I have an opinion? If I’d care for “karma” I’d be on reddit lol. But dude, go with the flow and consume the default. Couldn’t care less about what you do.
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•WhatsApp's new AI feature lets you rephrase and adjust the tone of your messages | TechCrunchEnglish11·4 days agoLuckily i got no kids with some weird hobbies that require WA. And if I’d be in that position, I would still not use it. I don’t like to be extorted, even not for “just an app”. Be part of the problem or the solution.

Or just values their stubborn contacts more.
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•“ChatGPT killed my son”: Parents’ lawsuit describes suicide notes in chat logsEnglish4·5 days agoIf I recall correctly, he circumvented the safeguards by allegedly writing a screenplay about suicide.
But anyhow, it should always be a simple “if ‘suicide’ is mentioned, warn moderators to actually check stuff” right before sending stuff to the user. That wouldn’t require much effort.
“Back in my days”, grandpa continued to brabble 'it was just 500 diamonds, the world is rotten!"
Yeah sure MC is damn moddable too. But haven’t touched it in many years and it’s not on nexusmods hence it’s off my radar. Though MC was great without mods. At least when the alpha started. It was a revelation
If you consider the vaaaast amount of mods for SV, how could it not be king? Whatever you dislike, you change. Whatever you like, you add to it. This makes even mediocre games superb. See e.g. skyrim.
There are people, like me, who never ever had a console and are just PC-gamers. Harvest moon could’ve been the tIt’s, but I would never know. To me, obviously, stardew is king.
Oooooh…okay. Thanks 😁
It’d feel weird with my balls dangling in the wind. But OK.
Dyskolos@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Reddit is using AI to determine users beliefs, values, stances and more based on their activity (posts and comments) summarizing it to Subreddit Mods.English1·11 days agoGuess that’d be another safe bet. They had be silly not to.

Those that SHOULD read it, never will. The same problem as with warning-labels et al.
I totally don’t get this joke. Can someone enlighten me, please?
Eloquently put. The downvote was someone who directly felt attacked by the truth 😁
…concluded the “AI”
