      The article doesn’t say it dissolves mineral buildup. It penetrates the buildup to separate it from the surface it’s stuck to.

        Still not going to work. You’ll want an acid like LCR to do the job, but you also aren’t going to see any real gain from a sink faucet. I’ve done it to shower heads, but those have much smaller passages and it had to be over night.

          I mean, that’s how it works for stuff that’s rusted shut. But you’re right that an acid, even vinegar, would be way more effective. And non-toxic in the case of vinegar.
