The more impressive thing is that they managed to get the Nvidia upgrade to be backwards compatible with existing Framework 16 models.
That’s the push I need to really, truly believe they’re committed to the goal of upgradablity. Too many “modular” products have come out where the “upgraded” modules were only available if you bought the newest version of the base product.
In the next year or so, I’ll probably be buying a new laptop, and this has convinced me that Framework is probably the way to go.
Apple has EU problems. Google got legally fucked in the US with the Epic lawsuit.
Didn’t they just lose a major lawsuit over their treatment of sideloaded apps and stores?
Are you sure you weren’t just in Houston?
Autistic boys sometimes get called quaint. Other times people call the police and they get shot.
These jank movies do have a function.
People gotta learn to use cameras and decorate sets and shit. Might as well make a dumb movie out of it and hope to sell a few units.
That’s the point. Musk wants control over the entire internet.
If all the other internet infrastructure was abandoned, he would be the most powerful person in history. Want to regulate him afterwards? He could just shut down the internet in your region until you accept his terms.
Theater was the Superman Returns movie tie-in. The game wasn’t good, but the health system for the city was a neat idea, and the flying was AMAZING.
There’s never been a bad game with an element I enjoyed so much as Superman Returns and the flying.
Yeah, when I carried it all the time I was fixing shit left and right.
What it’s really good for is all the little annoyances you notice day to day that aren’t worth a trip to the garage in the moment.
Door knob slightly loose in the back bedroom? Fixed next time you walk in. Drawer sticking? Take care of it now instead of forcing it and forgetting about it later. You don’t even realize how much of that stuff there is until you have the multitool handy at all times.
And the bit driver really is a game changer. You can get a ratcheting version now too.
Bought it years ago on Etsy. Just looked in my email history, and it looks like it was from a user named HoldMyGear. Looks like they’re still active, and they have a version for the ratcheting bit driver too.
I have a 3d printer, but it doesn’t look like the stl is available anywhere. It’s printed really well, though. I don’t know what material it is, but it’s held up a lot better than standard PLA or PETG would.
Edit: looks like he has one for the Surge as well.
I actually don’t edc it anymore. I have an office job now, and half that giant belt clip doesn’t really fit in with the business- casual attire.
But I do keep them in my car, and happened to be using them today in time for those pictures because we’re moving offices this week and I was using them to take apart monitor arms, cut boxes, etc.
Dude only has a rating of 2 chevrons.
There’s a reason ICE conceal their faces.
They know what they’re doing is wrong and don’t want to be held accountable if their fascist rule collapses.
I want to see the answers on the right.
I dunno, I saw some brown eggs in my Texas supermarket last week.
All those woke DEI chickens are leading to a genocide against wholesome, white, AMERICAN eggs.
Even if the 13% number were accurate - that’s a pretty damning number. 13% of people supporting someone for gunning down a CEO in cold blood is terrifying to CEOs.
That’s not 13% hating them. That’s 13% of people celebrating someone for killing them. No lawsuits. No trials. Just gunning them down in the streets. Things have gotten really bad when you have that much of the population actively supporting your murder.
If your kindness is transactional, you’re not a nice person.
