Oh but facebook is all but a tech company. It’s designed and controlled by “business” idiots. All the Silicon Valley is like that. Just a shadow of what it was, back then these STEM people were running the show.
But it seems these stupid companies start to realize that now it’s Product Manager all the way down, they can’t produce much, beside stupid planning. Why do you think they’re so hell bent in believing their slop machines can replace devs?

Well maybe. But I value the absence of needing any online service and hackability way more. Also for me, Kodi works perfectly. I have one on each TV, laptop, tablet, all synced. All I need is to open a torrent file from anywhere. But I admit, I have a hairy setup.
I think the fairphone is also a Linux phone, so that would work the same. Nothing however is yet another android-but-private-this-tiime

This data has been lost forever, but yet, somehow, parts of that yesteryears afternoon at my friend’s are still here.
